The Bald Soprano - Gleams Theatre
Constantin Sokolov is a critically acclaimed director, playwright and cinematographer and artistic director of Gleams Theatre, founded by his wife Ira Sokolova, who is also an actor, musician and composer. Since its founding in May 2004, Gleams Theatre stages newly written, seldom or non-produced dramatic works to Montreal audiences in unconventional styles and spaces. Many of the plays that Gleams has produced to date, such as marriage Play by Edward Albee, Central park West by Woody Allen, What Where by Samuel Beckett and Miss You by David Auburn, were Canadian or Montreal Premieres.
