Canada-culture.tv « BULGARIAN-CANADIAN CULTURAL SYNERGY » A NEW WEBZINE INITIATIVE

MONTREAL, October 15, 2008 - The board of directors of Canada Culture TV is pleased to announce the launch of the Bulgarian-Canadian Cultural Synergy webzine initiative. Acting as a “virtual arts centre,” the new webzine will feature and promote Canadian talent of Bulgarian origin, while helping artists connect with a broader national and international audience.

Virtual galleries will showcase creators working in all contemporary and traditional art forms, from film, theatre, music, dance and literature, to design, fashion, photography, and the visual arts. Artists will be able to display their work and interact with fans inside their virtual studios, as well as engage in dialogue about culture and new media.

The Canadian-Bulgarian Cultural Synergy initiative will be produced in partnership with private and public sector organizations, cultural and community groups, as well as with funding from the Department of Canadian Heritage, as part of its Canadian Culture Online Strategy.

This interactive website will be published in English, French, and Bulgarian. All articles, videos, forum posts, works and creations displayed in studios and galleries will be free and available for everyone to explore.

Bulgarian-Canadian creators, as well as arts and community reporters from across Canada, are invited to get in touch with us and submit any digital material that could enhance our webzine.
