A young musician who for the past 13 years calls Canada home, Kristian Alexandrov grew up to be moved by such rich genre influences as Bulgarian folk, classical, fusion, funk, bebop, blues and contemporary jazz. In 2006 he plays with trumpet legend Randy Brecker in an acoustic quintet, then he records his debut album Acoustika with the masterful musicians Andy Ericson and Jeremy Coates and gifted vocalist Shannon Gaye.
