After working at Bianca’s kitchen for over 15 years, in 2007, Bulgarian born, chef and artist, Victor Zidarov opens his own hip restaurant/ champagne bar in the old Scotia Bank building of downtown St-John’s with associates Gregory Bersinsky and Stoyan Ivanov. Extraordinary food, smart décor, lively atmosphere and an extensive wine list quickly win the Vault a solid reputation among gourmets worldwide.

The desserts and truffles are a creation by The Vault’s chocolatiers, Tony and Vanya Velinovi from Sofia, Bulgaria who made Newfoundland their home a year ago.
